Where to Find the Best Tacos in Puerto Vallarta

• Tacos de Birria “Alex” is where you’ll have a chance to eat what is essentially a taco delicacy in Puerto Vallarta. Only available during the morning and early afternoon, Tacos de Birria is a brunch you won’t soon forget.  
• Although Sonorita Olas Altas is one of the newest taco restaurants to pop up in Old Town, it has definitely made its mark and is here to stay. With an extensive menu of all kinds of tacos, we promise you won’t leave hungry.  
• At El Machín you’ll find deliciously fresh seafood tacos. We recommend the shrimp al pastor tacos, but feel free to order one of everything on the menu!  
• Marisima Fish Taco doesn’t only make their tortillas by hand right in front of you, but the general consensus is that these are the best fish tacos in town.  
• Last but not least, you’ve gotta try Carnitas. Open in the afternoons, you’ll find the stand on Lázaro Cardenas and Aguacate. This slow cooked braised pork will have you wondering why in the world you waited so long to try it.
