For the 25th consecutive year, Puerto Vallarta will be hosting its annual Gourmet Festival this November from the 19th to the 24th. This year, 19 restaurants and 11 hotels throughout Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Nayarit and Tepic will be participating together to bring one of the most astounding culinary events in Mexico.
The first International Gourmet Festival in Puerto Vallarta was held in 1995, organized by Thierry Blouet and Heinz Reize and designed to position the region as an international culinary competitor. The festival has come a long way in 25 years, beginning with just 12 participating restaurants and hotels to 30 participants and a wide variety of international and local sponsors and official wines.
On the festival’s program you’ll find events like a cocktail inauguration, culinary masterclasses, themed dinner nights, a Gourmet Safari and much more. Plus, each participating restaurant hosts a guest chef to create a menu for the festival. Plus, every meal is expertly paired with exquisite wines for the ultimate gourmet culinary experience.
Among participating Puerto Vallarta restaurants, you’ll find Azafrán, Barrio Bistro, Café Des Artistes, Coco Tropical, El Dorado, Emiliano, Hector’s Kitchen, ICÚ, Kaiser Maximilian, La Terraza di Roma, La Palapa, Le Kliff, Loma 42, Rivercafe, Stars, Trio, Tuna Blanca, and Xoklo.
