01Who is responsible

Casa Tabachin (“we”), a vacation rental located in Old Town Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México, is responsible for the personal data you share with us. This notice is issued in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Contact: info@casatabachin.com.

02Data we collect

We only collect what we need to handle your enquiry and stay:

• Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
• Trip details: arrival and departure dates, number of guests and suites, occasion and the message you send us.
• Stay details: names of the guests in your party and, only if you share them, dietary needs or allergies so our chef can prepare your meals.
• Payment details: the information needed to process payments and the security deposit. We do not store card numbers on this website.

Dietary needs or allergies can be health-related (sensitive) data. We use them only to prepare your meals and only with your express consent, which you give by sending them to us.

03How we use it

Primary purposes (necessary for our relationship with you): answering your enquiry and sending quotes; confirming and managing your reservation, payments and deposit; preparing your stay, meals and concierge requests; and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Secondary purposes (optional): sending you occasional news or offers from Casa Tabachin and asking for feedback after your stay. You can opt out at any time by writing to info@casatabachin.com; this will not affect your booking.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only when needed to provide your stay: with our house staff; with the availability-calendar and payment providers you use to book or pay; with service providers you ask us to arrange (such as transport or tours); and with authorities when required by law. These transfers do not require your consent under article 37 of the LFPDPPP.

05Cookies & third-party services

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To display correctly it loads fonts from Google Fonts, icons from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and, on the Location page, an embedded Google Map. These providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their privacy policies. The enquiry form does not store your data in the browser.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for as long as required by Mexican tax and commercial law, after which they are securely deleted. Dietary and health information is deleted at the end of your stay.

07Your rights (ARCO)

You can Access, Rectify or Cancel your personal data, Oppose its use, revoke your consent or limit its use or disclosure. Send your request to info@casatabachin.com including your name, a copy of an ID, the data concerned and what you are asking for. We will reply within 20 business days and, if your request is granted, act on it within the following 15 business days.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact Mexico’s data-protection authority.

08Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

09Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
